@ (The late) PHIL HARTMANN's HOLLYWOOD STAR CEREMONY (posthumous).the late great phil hartmann finally got his star today here in hollywood,with a few Saturday night live colleagues on hand to say
(also Jon Lovitz) a few words as well as hartmann's brother,his agent, & a few others.
Great day for Phil whose life ended so tragically (which went without mention)
WALKNG to the posthumous Hollywood Star Ceremony for the late, great, Phil Hartmann I can see the steeple of Blessed Sacrament Church >

as an aside: 8/26/14 MESSAGE to the BOSS of this "SECURITY" GUY @ HOLLYWOOD STAR CEREMONIES? Who is this guy ? As of the past year or so suddenly he's become a constant presence alongside leron gubler at ALL of the hollywood star ceremonies. He's NOT a cop, but he ca be BOSSY, more than necessary, and I've seen him initiate contact with spectators that sets up unnecessary conflicts because he does NOT say "please" or "thanks" but simply BARKS ORDERS at us as if we were soldiers under his command. This kind of "crowd control" tends to agitate people. Most of the other guys doing the same job smile a bit and say a few niceties, but this guy acts as if he's SECRET SERVICE for the POTUS (president of the USA). I have never heard or seen anybody become violent at any of these ceremonies...in fact usually it's the nicest crowd of people you will every meet (apart from a few line crashers & professional papparazzi
who use step-ladders etc against the rules).
Whoever is this guy's boss could you please ask him to TONE IT DOWN? We don't need a wannabe TERMINATOR doing crowd control...
just a few nice people saying "thanks" and "please"
and that's usually all that's needed.

anyways, back to the main story, the ceremony was held by this hollywood toys & costume store where Phil used to enjoy shopping
